Recycling: let's take the lies to the curb
You've probably already been too brainwashed for this meager blog entry to have any weight, but I'll throw this out there anyway.
Don't believe the lies: recycling gets a lot of press, but it's undeserved. Recycling is good and all, but not compared to reducing and reusing. Unfortunately for OUR ENVIRONMENT and OUR CHILDREN the recycling lobby has silenced the message around reducing and reusing.
In what can only be called discriminatory practices, the (recycling) MAN has effectively eliminated the purple "Reduce" bins and yellow "Reuse" bins that once sat alongside the green "Recycle" bins.
Why? Because the energy industries are the top financial backers of the Recycling lobby. What is required to recycle? That's right ENERGY! What's required to reduce and reuse? Creativity and a commitment to our environment. There's no way for gas, coal, or electric companies to take a cut of that mind power.
If you can still break free from the jedi-recycling mind tricks I implore you to get the word out about reducing and reusing!
